We've partnered with Community FoodBank of New Jersey for a special storytime and volunteer opportunity held at their Hillside location.

Children ages 6-11 and their caregiver will listen to a story, discuss what a food bank is, and volunteer. Child’s name and adult’s email address will be shared with Community FoodBank in advance of the program.

Teens ages 12+ will discuss food insecurity in New Jersey and volunteer. Teens will be sent a link to create a Volunteer Hub account.

Volunteering tasks include sorting and repacking food items and assembling food boxes. Registration is required and must be done by September 22 at 10:00 a.m.
