Poetry in Motion : Poetry Gift Making
If you’re interested in poetry of any kind and from any era, this is the club for you!
We'll be doing something a little different for December's meeting. Before you attend, pick someone in your life to whom you'd like to gift a poem, and select a poem for them (this can either be something you wrote or one by a published poet). You can gift a poem to a partner, a spouse, a friend, a coworker, a pet, a secret crush...anyone, really! If you need help picking a poem, feel free to contact us beforehand with a general idea of what sentiment(s) you'd like your poem to express, and we'd be happy to send you some options.
We will spend the first part of the program sharing and discussing our chosen poems like we normally do, but then we'll be giving you the opportunity to create either an ornament or a greeting card featuring your poem so you can give it to someone as a gift.
Please note that while registration is not required to attend, crafting supplies will be limited, so in the event that we do not have enough for everyone, priority will be given to those who registered.
