Our Children’s Room Expansion is Nearing the Finish Line ☀️
Hey there, Library Family!
We know you’ve been watching the construction crews, peeking through the fencing, and counting down the days until the grand reveal of our brand-new Children’s Room. We have a quick update on our timeline—and trust us, it is worth the wait!
While we initially hoped to open the doors this May, we are shifting our official Grand Opening to this summer.
Why the little shift? We are making sure every single detail is absolutely perfect for our young readers. Good things take a little time, but the finish line is officially in sight, and the space is looking spectacular!
What’s Already Done (And Looking Amazing!)
If you’ve walked by the library recently, you’ve probably noticed some massive changes. We are thrilled to share that the heavy lifting is almost entirely behind us:
Fresh Footpaths: The brand-new exterior sidewalk and accessible ramp are completely finished, making our entrance smoother and more welcoming than ever.
Let There Be Light: The gorgeous, giant new windows are fully installed! You can see them right from the sidewalk, and they flood the new space with the most beautiful natural light.
The Finishing Touches: The new window shades are already up, and nearly all of the interior construction work is officially wrapped.
Sneak Peek Coming Soon! We know you're dying to see inside. As soon as the construction crew packs up their tools and sweeps up the last bit of dust, we’ll be sharing a full gallery of interior preview photos!
The Final Countdown 📚✨
So, what’s left to do before we cut the ribbon? The fun part! Over the next few weeks, we will be:
Unboxing, assembling, andinstalling all of our vibrant, cozy new furniture.
Moving all of your favorite children's books into their spacious new home.
Putting the final magical touches on our dedicated play and learning areas.
We are all super excited, and we promise to make it up to you with an unforgettable grand opening ceremony this summer. Think special events, lots of celebration, and a whole new world for our young people to explore.
